A picturesque village close to the historic City of Canterbury. Bridge offers all the charm of village life but is on the door step of one of England's most historic and vibrant cities.

Canterbury is approximately 2 1/2 miles away offering shopping, good primary and secondary schools (private and state), universities, innumerable pubs and restaurants including a luxury Grade I listed Jacobean Mansion, The Pig Hotel opening in Autumn 2018 at Bridge Place, the famous Cathedral, sporting and leisure facilities, cultural activities and entertainment including the Marlowe Theatre.

Education & Nurseries

Bridge & Patrixbourne CEP School in Bridge has a Good Ofsted rating. Bridge offers an after school club and parent and toddler club. There are innumerable primary and secondary schools to choose from in Canterbury including the famous King's.

Hospitals

The Kent and Canterbury Hospital provides treatment for both in and out patients. There are also two private hospitals, BMI Chaucer and St Martins.

Transport Links

Travel by road provides you with easy access to the A2 then the M2.

For rail travel; Bekesbourne station is less than 2 miles away. There are two stations in Canterbury offering a journey time to St Pancras London in 56 minutes via the HS1 (High Speed 1). With easy access to Ashford International affording links to The Channel Tunnel or The Port of Dover.

Supermarkets

Bridge has its very own mini-supermarket, post office and pharmacy. For larger stores there are several in Canterbury and on the outskirts of the city.
